How we build
Then the way software gets built changed.
The build that cost a year fits inside a quarter now. Same standard, most of the calendar returned.
The labor is agentic. The judgment isn't.
Machines run the pipeline. People run the machines. Nothing ships until both are satisfied, and only one of them gets tired.
What changed
The method, not the standard. Agents now work the whole pipeline: scoping, code, tests, documentation, the back office nobody puts on a website. We're in the Claude Partner Network, and we rebuilt delivery around what that unlocks. The slow part of building software was never the typing. It was the year wrapped around the typing. That's what the harness ate.
What didn't
Everything you'd put in a contract. Senior architects make the calls. Engineers read every line, and sign what they read. Nothing ships on vibes. Production standard, documentation, handover, your ownership of code and data: exactly where you left them. We were rigorous before the models got good. The models got good. We stayed rigorous.
